From, Winthrop, NY, I received some yummy smoked meats. The company,
Adirondack Smoked Meats.
Since 1977, Tri Town Packing
has helped local farmers and hunters, with USDA processing of, cheese smoking, venison
meat processing and so much more. John and Tom Liberty knows this process very
well, and bring their own products of specialties. There is everything from
Kielbasa to what I got, their summer sausage's.
Tonight, the family and I got
to try, some of, Adirondack smoked meats, and first up with their beef snack
sticks that come in two flavors. They are not like other beef sticks I have
tasted so far. They are processed in a old fashion way, by being wood smoked.
They are a wonderful snack, a treat in between meals, and cut them up and use
them in a recipe. They are soft yet crunchy, and have a wonderful old fashion
flavor, which is smoky to! You won't be able to stop at one that's a fact. The
pepperoni and cheese stick, that Adirondack smoked meats sent over is just as tasty, with the
same texture. The difference is the pepperoni flavor and the cheese. A amazing
meld of culinary products. You will truly enjoy the smoky flavor not only of
the pepperoni, but the cheese as well.
For breakfast, I made a hash
and included some of, Adirondack smoked meats, jalapeno and cheese summer sausage. Talk
about a hearty breakfast, this was it. A nice mixture of pork and spices, that
have been smoked and cooked to perfection. The aroma when cooking the summer
sausage is just amazing. And the kick from the jalapenos is spot on, a real
party on your palate. A slice gives you bits of cheddar cheese and jalapeno's.
It's beefy, and smoky, and all the ingredients in perfect meld.
Lunch was just as yummy, with
some original summer sausage from, Adirondack smoked
meats. For that I sliced it up and made a sandwich along with onions and
peppers and the sausage. A delicious sandwich, that gave you flavor in every
bite. The summer sausage was smoked and made the Adirondack way. It had the best distinctive taste, and for a sandwich, it was
better then using regular store bought sausage's. It also gave you a slight
tang in each bite you took. This is a wonderful type of sausage to have around,
especially in the hotter summer months, due to the processing method.
If you have never tried
summer sausage, I highly recommend it. And you can head over to Adirondack smoked meats, to get some today.
