Where do I start? I guess it’s going back 15+ years when I played in a yearly softball tournament that for a good cause as it was a cancer benefit and I had my first taste of the best pulled pork I had ever tasted. It was at a concession stand that I would devour 6-8 sandwiches a weekend and I might be underestimating on those pulled pork sandwiches but I couldn’t get enough. I asked what’s the secret and I was told it’s all in the rub. Teams from all over would play in this tournament and it was definitely a favorite amongst many hungry softball players between games and sometimes between innings to grab this phenomenal pulled pork! This is by far my favorite rub/seasoning! I love all 3 rubs from the original Jersey Rub, the Jersey Devil rub and also the Smokey sweet rub. I call them rubs but they are really used as whatever you want to use them for and it’s replaced practically everything I have in my spice rack! . It’s a must have whether it’s some burgers, chicken, or your favorite cuts of beef all 3 are amazing! These are also my favorite seasonings as it’s too good not to sprinkle some on deviled eggs some potato or macaroni salad! Honestly if you like Memphis style dry rubs or if you like your barbecue sauces you can’t go wrong with using Jersey rub purpose seasonings! It goes well with your favorite barbecue sauces as well! I use it all year round in the kitchen and out on the barbecue! It’s also on my kitchen table as it’s a much better option than just salt!
