John WM Macy's Cheese Crisps Product Review

You can take the most off the beat path product, add it to a recipe, and the end result, amazing dish's.

That’s what I did today, with products received from, John WM Macy's. Located in, Elmwood Park, New Jersey. John WM Macy's, has been making cheese sticks, since 1976, that started at country fairs in, Cali. From the west coast to the east coast, where all the products are made today, a forty year family baking has been happening.

All his products are cheesy, sourdoughy, and yummy! And they are great eaten straight from the box, or incorporated into your own family recipes for some added crunch and flavor.

That's what I did today, taking these cheesy treasures and transforming them as added ingredients to my dish's.

Come along with me, to my dinner table, and see what I came up with!

A appetizer was first, and for that, I used John WM Macy's, grilled crostini toast and topped them with a veggie antipasto. It was so much faster and easier to make my crostini's, because, John WM Macy's did all the work for me. These grilled crostini toasts are the newest product for the company. Crated by a true culinary artisan, and made from real sourdough baguettes. Made just like you would from a fresh loaf! The best part, John WM Macy's, grilled crostini toasted come already seasoned as well, so you don't need to add any seasoning your self. The seasoning on them is a nice blend of olive oil, and some perfectly balanced sea salt. When you bite into them, even topped with food, they hold up their amazing crunch. The grilled crostini toasts are a great versatile product, that you can not only enjoy from the bag, but use in elegant ways.

For my salad, I used, John WM Macy's, rosemary and cheddar cheese crisps, broken up and substituted for croutons on my fresh garden salad. Again the cheese crisps are a great snack straight from the box, but added as a ingredient really brings your dish to a whole new flavor level. The flavor of each crisp, is a nice rosemary blend, along with a robust flavor of the cheddar and asiago cheese. The best part the flavors are perfectly in balance, and not over powering at all. It's a taste of a nice sharp cheese cracker, and used as a substitute for a crouton, was just a perfect idea. They are just the most unique cheese crisps, you will get to savor.

What I made next was a small pot of broccoli and cheese soup, and used again the, John WM Macy's, cheesesticks in place of a crouton. The flavor was the cheese sticks, original broken up into bite size bits. They not only held their flavor, but held their crunch on top of the soup. Not only did you get the cheese flavor from the soup, but from the original cheddar cheesesticks as well. These original cheddar cheesesticks, is what started it all for the company, and after you taste them, you can understand why the company bloomed. A nice snack straight from the box, but also great as a added flavor for my dish. The cheesestick is a nice twist, that has been baked twice for the perfect texture and crunch. Made with layers of real aged cheddar and asiago cheese along with sourdough.

I also made some Au Gratin potatoes for a side dish, and once again, John WM Macy's, cheese crisps got crushed all over the top, right before taking them out of the oven. The flavor, Asiago and Cheddar! This award winning bakery, that is family owned, really knows their stuff. The layers of flavor from these cheese crisps, are amazing. Made with one hundred percent real aged asiago, and Vermont cheddar cheeses, that are made between sheets of mixed sourdough, that is then baked twice. A nice creamy taste, with the savory cheese profiles in every bite. None of the, John WM Macy's, products have artificial flavors, or preservatives. They are zero trans fat, and zero sugar, which makes them great for young and old, and any type dieter. Even baked on cheesy potatoes, the cheese crisps held up their flavor and crunch. Again as all the products, the cheese crisps are very versatile, the ideas are endless!

For the finial dish, I made some crusted chicken fillets, and the coating was made with the, John WM Macy's, melting parm sticks. Truly, a succulent dish this turned out to be. Made the same way as all the other products, with real ingredients, such as fresh sourdough, real cheese and hand twisted. Just the perfect flavored cheesestick, with a little extra something special, some unsalted butter, for a nice mild flavor profile, and a little softer bite. And the crust on the air fried chicken fillets held up so perfectly. Not only did it give my fillets a wonderful crunch topping, but added some cheesy flavor. A great flavor cheesestick, that is again very versatile, from straight out the box, or included in your dish's.

Not only can you enjoy, John WM Macy's, cheese crisps, but you can get rewarded for buying them as well. Look for these cheesy treasure online or on Amazon.
