Today
from breakfast till dessert, I got to create some delicious meals with some
homemade syrups I received from the
The company is called, Tree Juice, and their syrups are made by the Fairbairn family. The family has been in business, since 1930, on their one hundred acre farm. All toll there is 7500 maple tress that are tapped every year. Made in a traditional wood fired evaporator, making their sweet maple syrup. It was 2012, that, Jake, Ryan, Greg and Rae resurrected the family's sugar shack, and now their sweet success is available for our tables.
Not only do they make traditional maple syrup, they make infused maple syrups. All the infused syrups start with their home made pure one hundred percent maple syrup. You can get many amazing flavors of the infused syrups, and seasonal varieties as well.
Maple syrup is not just for breakfast, you can use it in a variety of dish's, which I have. But also use maple syrup to replace other sweeteners.
Let
me tell you about these amazing products, and what I made with them.
First it was breakfast time, and I couldn't wait to taste these little gems that came in two ounce bottles. The bottles might be small, but the flavors were huge. The first syrup from, Tree Juice was their Maple. It is some really sweet syrup that is heavenly on the palate. For Tree Juice, maple syrup I made some homemade breakfast sausage and covered it in the maple syrup. It was sweet and heavenly in each bite you took. The maple syrup is a nice thickness, not to runny and not to thick. You can taste the love and care that was put into making this delectable syrup. There is nothing better then a homemade pure maple syrup, and Tree Juice, knows their stuff. On the palate the Tree Juice pure maple syrup taste so natural, its has a nice hint of smokiness, its buttery, and has a slight caramel flavor. No question about it, after you taste it, it will satisfy your taste buds.
Also
for breakfast I made some pancake muffins with, Tree Juice, vanilla infused
maple syrup poured all over the tops. This is a infused maple syrup with,
I had a blast cooking with these tiny treasures, and lunch was up next. To start with, I made some lemonade and to sweeten the drink, I used Tree Juice zesty lemon maple syrup. Tree Juice really went all out with this flavor syrup. It has zest from organic lemons, and was cooked into the pure maple syrup. So adding it to lemonade, jumped the level of great taste ten fold. It is a very versatile maple syrup that would be great for glazes on fish or chicken, in hot tea when you have a cold, or as a addition to a salad dressing. The ideas are endless.
As
a side dish for my fish lunch, I roasted some
To start our dinner off, I made a nice refreshing drink. A ice tea made with fresh blueberries, and Tree Juice blueberry maple syrup. It was so refreshing and natural tasting. And all the sweetness came from the blueberry syrup. As with all the maple syrup from, Tree Juice, the flavor is over the top. This blueberry syrup as they all are, are very versatile. From a French toast breakfast, to a refreshing dessert, you will be satisfied with the flavor. It is very naturally sweet and succulent. Imagine a infused maple syrup with wild blueberries added to it, giving you a exquisite taste. This is not your store brand syrup that's for sure.
For the main course, I grilled some ribs, and made a glaze with mustard and Tree Juice, chocolate maple syrup. Mouth watering down to the bone! This syrup is made with only two ingredients, and its hard to believe it is. One hundred percent Tree Juice maple syrup and raw cacao powder. As far as my glaze for the ribs, it was divine. Rich and perfect! The taste profile is perfect, and very versatile. I see adding it into some hot coco in the winter, or drizzled over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
For a side dish to balance out the chocolate glazed ribs, I made a nice fruit salad, and for a special addition to the dressing, added Tree Juice candy cane maple syrup. Tree Juice took their maple syrup and added some organic grown peppermint leaves from their farm, for the infusion. You get a nice refreshing syrup, with a little zing from the mint. Every bite you take with this syrup on it, is so heavenly. I see some Christmas cookies with the candy cane syrup as a added ingredient. It's so refreshing on the palate!
To
end the evening, I roasted some fresh peach's and drizzled them with not only
cinnamon and whip cream, but some of Tree Juice cinnamon syrup. Heaven on a
plate! This cinnamon syrup has two ingredients of pure Tree Juice maple syrup and a infusion of organic cinnamon sticks. It is a well balance of sweetness
and spice. Great for
