Cool Off with a Watermelon Mint Cooler

Ingredients:

 

4 cups seedless watermelon, chopped

1/2 cup fresh mint leaves

1/4 cup lime juice

2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar (optional)

2 cups sparkling water

Ice cubes

Instructions:

 

Blend the Watermelon and Mint: In a blender, combine the watermelon, mint leaves, lime juice, and honey or agave nectar (if using). Blend until smooth.

 

Strain the mixture (Optional): If you prefer a pulp-free drink, you can strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve.

 

Add Sparkling Water and Ice: Stir in the sparkling water and ice cubes.

 

Serve: Serve immediately in chilled glasses.

 

Tips:

 

For an extra refreshing twist, you can add a few slices of fresh cucumber to the blender along with the watermelon and mint.

If you don't have fresh mint, you can substitute with 1 teaspoon of dried mint leaves.

If you don't have sparkling water, you can use club soda or even plain water.

This drink is also delicious frozen! Simply pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze until solid.
