Mina Food Product Review

From breakfast to dinner, I enjoyed cooking with the products I received today from Mina, casablanca foods.

Mina blends are taste and traditions of tagine. Also Mina is a true Moroccan matriarch, with strong family, food and flavorful fun. As a younger Mina, she cooked for ten younger siblings, transforming her mothers recipes with her natural touch. All Mina, products are the root of traditions, and made with natural ingredients, and bold seasonings, that give any cook flavorful dish's.

So from my families breakfast, to my families dinner, we made it a Moroccan day with each meal cooked.

First up was, Moroccan eggs, basking in Mina spicy Moroccan red pepper sauce. A short brief history of what Harisa sauce is! It is a spicy chili pepper sauce made with chilies, garlic and olive oil, and Mina does it perfectly. You can read more about what Harissa is on the website, it has a ton of informational reading.

Now, onto my dish, that was nectar to everyone's lips. Making the eggs in Mina's Harissa spicy sauce was so luscious. It is made with just six ingredients, that lands a party on your taste buds. The flavor is exotic to say the least. The ingredients of, red chili peppers, red bell peppers, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar and salt, make the most delicious Harissa pepper sauce. The eggs were fantastic, but this versatile sauce can be used in many dish's, that are and are not Moroccan cuisine. The taste is hot and tangy, but in a gourmet way. The flavor of Mina Harissa Moroccan spicy red pepper sauce, is very authentic, and true to form. You get a sauce that taste very flavorful, and is the perfect blend. It's not runny, nor to thick, just perfection in a jar. Every bite you taste the love and commitment that go into the process of making these products. It's color is stunning, and the taste exquisite!

Lunch was a nice lemon and olive oil chickpea salad, with fresh mixed olives. The Mina, Moroccan extra virgin olive oil was the only flavoring that coated the salad. A stunning color and taste as well! The Mina, Moroccan extra virgin olive oil is not only great for a dressing, but would do very well as a dip, the creativity would be up to you. The flavor profile is very smooth, and light, and added the perfect coating for my salad. It had very love acidity, only 0.2 percent in fact, much lower then other olive oils on the market today. The olives that make up the oil, come from single family estates, and can be traced back to the trees of such. It is a nice blended olive oil that is unblended, and has a perfect consistency. Mina, Moroccan olive oil is also a cold extraction, which is a modern process to ensure quality, and integrity, and flavor. This versatile, Moroccan extra virgin olive oil should be a staple in everyone's kitchen. Use it for a drizzle, a salad dressing, a sauté, and so much more, for a light taste that is truly delicious. The nutty taste of the Mina Moroccan olive oil is very pleasant on the palate. The olives used are a variety of olives, the Beldi olives. You will not believe the freshness and the delicate taste you dish will have.

Dinner turned out just as fantastic as breakfast and lunch. I made some nice halibut steaks with white rice. And for the flavoring I used the, Mina shakshuka Moroccan tomato sauce. This sauce is usually used for Shakshuka, which is a dish made with eggs. But using the spiced tomato sauce on the fish, was another perfect choice. It had all the ingredients I needed, roasted bell peppers, and a ton of herbs and spices. Lean more about Shakshuka on the Mina website, it's very informational. And the sauce is very versatile as well, great with fish, eggplant, and stews as well. All the spices, herbs, and taste you need come from the jar, and include, red ripe tomatoes, roasted peppers, onions, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, cilantro, parsley, and a secret blend of 6 Moroccan spices. You are left with a dish that is not only savory, it burst with flavor. This sauce from, Mina, could be your next go to sauce, for everything. It is a nice low carb sauce, that is very healthy. The flavor screams freshness, richness and robust flavors. You can use it as a alternative for marinara sauces. Mina, Shakshuka Moroccan tomato sauce is low in sodium, and gluten free. There are no artificial ingredients or additives in the jar, just all natural goodness. The sauce makes your Shakshuka dish easy, but also other dish's as well. And the flavor you achieve, is worth it. It is just delectable, in every bite you take.
