I had the honor today, to
taste some delicious fruitcake, from a company that’s been in business since
the 1930's. Jane Parker was the company!
I love fruit cake, not just for Holidays, but to serve as a dessert for any occasion or any type of dinner. And I really enjoyed the two I received today from Jane Parker.
The first fruitcake was the
Jane Parker classic. Filled with, Plump, juicy raisins, tangy citron, and
orange peel, glazed pineapple, red cherries, and crunchy pecans. And there was
no shortage of ingredients. In every bite you got the luscious fruits and nuts.
There is just no way you can resist these fruit cakes. Jane Parker classic
fruitcake is made by their original recipe, and baked right here in the
The dark fruitcake was next from Jane Parker, made with the same fruits and nuts and made dark with molasses. Makings for a very succulent fruit cake, to enjoy with family and friends. You can eat it right out of the box, as a sweet treat, or serve it up for a elegant dessert for the Holidays. Both fruitcakes taste just like they were freshly baked right in your own kitchen. The dark has that nice molasses flavor that is very mild tasting. It's not a heavy dessert at all. Serve it plain from the box, or top with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream. The Jane Parker dark fruit cake is very moist, yet holds very well together when handling your slice. The flavor profile just reminds you of Christmas, and times of the past. A truly heavenly made fruit cake.
If you are interested in grabbing some for your family, or friends, or even the Holidays, visit Jane Parker online or on Amazon.
