Santa Barbara Soup Review

I got to make some really tasty soup, that came today from the company, Santa Barbara Soups. They are homemade soups that come in a cute tube ready for gift giving. Santa Barbara Soups is a woman owned business. And every soup is made in the U.S, in small batch's. Making soups this way not only ensures freshness but quality.

Every soup made is gluten free, dairy free, soy free and is vegan. There are no fillers in any of the soups made.

Alanna Wiltshire is the driving force behind, Santa Barbara Soups.

All the soups are so exquisite, and very healthy for you. The tube of soup comes with the beans and spices, you just add what you wish, and cook. The soup can be prepared on the stove top or in the crock pot or instant pot. The directions are on the back label. It doesn't get any easier then this!

Each prepared soup meal, makes four to six cup sized servings. And will feed a family up to five. With that being said let me share with you my dinner of Santa Barbara Soups.

First up was the coconut lentil soup. The cute tube the soup comes in makes a wonderful gift for any occasion or Holiday. It's almost to pretty to open. Right through the clear tube you see the fresh herbs and spices and all the yellow lentils for the soup. It’s a rainbow of yummy ingredients just waiting for you to prepare. I used my instant pot for this soup, and to the already made ingredients, added some sliced carrots. When the soup was done, I did a garnish of fresh parsley.

Instant Pot Instructions:

Pour soup mix and 5 cups of water into Insta-Pot. Cook on high Pressure for 10-minutes. Vent OR slow-release once cooking cycle is complete.

This is a tasty Indian spiced lentil soup, with tones of coconut and traditional spices. Every bite is a party on your palate. It is a real comfort food, and burst with so much flavor.

Since the whole family was in the house, I made the send tube of soup from, Santa Barbara Soups, which was vegetable bean chili. This soup I made in the instant pot, and it was fast and easy. In the tube container, you get all the herbs, spices and beans you need to make a amazing three bean chili. It's very rich and is a true delight on your palate. There is a wonderful mixture of sweet potatoes, carrots as well. I added some stewed tomatoes and Hamburg, for a delicious addition. The vegetable bean chili is easy to make and waiting for your favorite topping.

Both soups are filling, and really feel taste like true comfort foods. There's no fuss at all to making either soups, the work is all done for you. They make a great fall meal! But heck, you can really enjoy them all year round. They not only make a great meal, but would be a awesome starter course.

You can orders your Santa Barbara Soups online or find them on Faire.
