The recipe for quick German potato pancakes is just that. Quick
and simple. And their taste is amazing.
Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups coarsely shredded peeled potatoes
1/2 cup sliced green onions.
1/3 cup flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
Pinch of pepper
Combine all of the ingredients. In a heated skillet, heat 2
tablespoons of oil.
Pour the batter into the oil (1/4 cup at a time). Flatten by
spreading. Fry on one side, then turn to cook on the other.
As an alternative, you may use less onion and more diced apple.
