Healthy Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients:

 

1 pound ground turkey

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 egg

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Olive oil

Your favorite marinara sauce

Instructions:

 

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.

Shape the mixture into small meatballs.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil.

Add meatballs to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side or until browned.

Transfer meatballs to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.

Tips:

 

For a spicier meatball, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture.
