This Is Really a Very SIMPLE
Dish FOR CRUNCHY VEGGIES COATED IN A SWEET
1 cup sodium-reduced stock
1 bunch of broccoli, florets
only
1 tbsp Canola oil
1 large red pepper, sliced
1 Celery stalk, sliced
1 Small onion, sliced into
sticks
Salt to your taste
Pepper to your taste
2 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp sodium-reduced soy
sauce
5 drops sesame oil
1 Green onion, sliced for
garnish
Heat the stock to a simmer,
next add the broccoli, steam for 5 minutes in the liquid before
setting aside.
Add the oil to the pan and
sauté the vegetables for 2 minutes over high heat; season with salt. Sauté for
another minute, stirring the pan continually, after adding the cooked broccoli,
garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
Place the vegetables on a
serving platter and garnish with the green onion.
