Oven Grilled Tilapia Fish is
among my favorite dishes since it cooks quickly and tastes amazing! Extremely
attractive for company. Oven grilled tilapia fish can be served with rice.
Ingredients
2 whole tilapia
1 onion
2 scotch bonnet
2tbsp minced ginger
2 tbsp minced garlic
3 tbsp your choice of a spice
mix
In a processor, combine the
scotch bonnet, onions, and red pepper, and pulse until they're all diced up
into tiny bits but not liquefied. Spoon the sauce into a mixing basin and add
the minced garlic, ginger, and spice mix. Season with salt and toss everything
together before setting it aside. Allowing it to settle before applying it to the
fish allows the flavors to seep into the vegetables and add flavor.
And itsit's time to make
sure to clean the fish, remove the scales, and completely gut it.
Preheat the grill to 220°F
after it has marinated for at least 24 hours.
Lay a sheet of foil on a tray
and use it to make a very loose shell for the fish. Put the fish in the center
and top with any extra garnish from the bowl. 1 tablespoon of oil should be
poured over the fish before folding the foil ends around.
About 30-40 minutes, check
the fish, remove the foil sleeve, and return it to the oven. Your fish will
crisp up and begin to brown now that the foil has been removed. After yet
another 10 minutes, remove it from the oven and it's ready to eat.
