1 envelope onion soup mix
3 medium potatoes, peeled and
quartered

and cut into quarters
2 ribs celery, cut into
sticks
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Collect all of the
components. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut a 2- to 3-foot sheet of
heavy-duty aluminum foil that is 18-inch wide. Distribute the onion soup mix
over the steak in the center of the foil. Potatoes, carrots, and celery should
be placed on top of the meat. Spread with butter and season with salt and
paprika. Fold the foil over and seal it tightly to keep the juices in. In a
large, shallow baking pan or roasting pan, place the foil packet. In a preheated oven, bake the steak and veggies for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until the
chuck steak is extremely tender.
