Carrots' Origin
Netherlands should be credited with bringing carrots to the rest
of the globe. Nevertheless, many individuals are unaware that carrots were not
always orange. Originally, they were yellow, white, and purple. However, owing
to political considerations in the 17th century, they were colored orange.
This was developed to show
the symbol of Dutch independence, which was made possible by Willem, Prince of
Orange. The primary hues had been bred out through different techniques. Count
yourself fortunate if you locate one that isn't orange.
