The company that sent over several products, and two gifts, that I am reviewing today is called SavoryWild Portabella Jerky.

This is a family owned business that goes back to 1928, with the tradition of growing some of the finest America's favorite mushrooms. Their first house was in temple Pennsylvania, with 90 years of experience and three generations later, Giorgio still has a strong bond to commitment of producing high quality mushrooms.

From Savory Wild Portabella Jerky, you get many benefits to their products, such as a:

Wild Portabella Jerky is all natural and rich, with a wonderful chew and texture. You can if you wish eat it out of the bag as a snack, but you can also use it as a added ingredient to almost any type of dish, as I did.

In any of these bags of Savory Wild Portabella Jerky by Giorgio is there any HYDROGENATED OILS, NO PRESERVATIVES, NO MSG, NATURALLY GLUTEN FREE, NON-GMO! The jerky is made from the best quality hand picked portabella mushrooms from the family farm. They are plant based and vegan foods. These Portabella jerkies are a powerhouse of benefits. A great meatless snack you can eat and cook with anytime.

There is just so much to these wonderful Savory Wild Portabella Jerky products, more then meets the eye. That is what is so special about mushrooms, their many places in the culinary world.

So let me tell you how I used these wonderful natural treasures in my meals for the entire day. That's after a bite out of each bag!

The day started with the bag of Savory Wild Portabella Jerky "roasted garlic and black pepper", cut up into some fried potato's, with green peppers, and topped with a over easy egg. Now these two flavorings are something I would usually put on my potato's any way, so why not use the jerky with the same flavors. When you toss it around, it gives the potato's that nice flavor of roasted garlic, and black pepper, all I added was a tiny pinch of sea salt. Breakfast was a great hit. And I must tell you, this is the first time not only for the family, but for my self tasting this type of jerky. And I am now in love! The roasted garlic and black pepper Portabella jerky really is flavorful, and also added flavor to dish. It is very mouth watering even straight out of the bag. The Portabella Jerky is not salty at all, and has a nice chew to it even cooked. It's a wonderful guilt free snack to.

For lunch I surprised everyone with the ingredient I used for the lunch burgers. I wanted them to finish before I told them, to get a true reaction. It was a hit. The Portabella Jerky I used was the smoke house and bacon flavor. So I did not need a slice of bacon at all, because not only in the burger but on the burger I used the Jerky for flavor. Inside the burger really got a nice smoky flavor from the Portabella Jerky. Even when the burgers were cooking there was a aroma of bacon, boy was my family shocked! It’s a nice bacon taste that's meatless and flavorful. And that umami really brings the flavor of the Portabella Jerky. A extraordinary jerky.

It did not stop with lunch, I continued on to dinner and used the rest of the flavors in every dish.

Now if you love figs, you will fall in love with Savory Wild Portabella Jerky, sweet balsamic and golden fig. Now if you were to make a salad with these two ingredients, it would be good. But mine was made with Portabella Jerky in this flavor, and you did not mind missing the actual real ingredients of balsamic and fig. That’s because the Portabella jerky gave my salad the same taste and flavor profile. When you bit into the salad you got a nice tang and a nice sweet bite at the same time. The balance of flavor was spot on. It really brought a divine flavor to the salad.

While waiting for the main meal, I thought of a nice appetizer, a cheese board with Savory Wild Portabella Jerky, hot and spicy Cajun. Anything hot I think always goes good with cold fruit and creamy cheese. And I was right! The taste takes you to the south for sure, where you would get some good Louisiana food. The taste is so robust, and the heat is a spicy perfect kick. Your taste buds will be dancing for sure, but in a good way. If you are a lover of Cajun food, then you really will fall in love with this Portabella Jerky. You can handle the heat, its perfectly balanced with all the other natural ingredients. A real old style flavor!

For dinner I made a beef stir fry and added some of the Sesame, ginger, and Korean Portabella jerky. Talk about taste, this Jerky is like adding fresh mushrooms to your dish. And with the beef it was just a extraordinary meal. Its spicy, its robust, and just added so much mouth watering flavor to the beef. Its savory, sweet, and smoky as well, all these flavors in one place. And then you also pick up on the slight taste of ginger. You even have real sesame seeds that finish off the Jerky. Words really can not tell you how good it taste, you need to try it for your self.

If you would love to try these products you can find them on the website or Amazon. You will not want to miss the taste of these Portabella Jerky treats. They are great out of the bag, or to add to your next dish.
