Crab and Shrimp Seafood
Bisque is an interesting dish that tastes wonderful.
You'll need the following
ingredients to replicate this Crab and Shrimp Bisque.
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons chopped green
onion
2 tablespoons chopped celery
3 tablespoons all-purpose
flour
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground
black pepper
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 cup heavy whipping cream
8 ounces crab meat
4 to 8 ounces small cooked
shrimp or other seafood
2 tablespoon sherry wine
Here we go:
Melt the butter in a Dutch
oven or in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
Apply the sliced green onion
and celery to the mixture. Stir, stirring, until soft.
Sift the flour with the sieve
and add in the butter and vegetables until well blended. Continue cooking,
stirring, about 2 minutes.
Heat the milk in another
saucepan over low temperature.
Slowly pour in the warmed
milk and proceed to cook and mix until thickened.
Apply the freshly ground
black pepper, the tomato paste and the sauce.
If needed, purée the soup in
the blender or food processor at this stage and return it to the saucepan.
Mix the lobster, the egg, and
the sherry. Get it to a simmer.
Serve it hot.
Dig in to embrace it!
