From Aahana's Khichdi, I received
some protein based containers of different blend bowls.
The company is owned by Sonal Khakhar who created these one pot bowls, made with grains, beans and aromatic's.
They are simple to get ready, just empty the container into a bowl, add hot
boiling water, stir, and enjoy. You can use the containers as your on the go
bowl as well. The products are made in small batches, then freeze dried giving
you all the original nutrients, colors and flavors. The ingredients are Sprouted beans and grains. Sprouting enhances
the nutritive value and helps make for a low glycemic and easy to digest food.
Seasoned with aromatic herbs
and spices like Turmeric, Cinnamon, Ginger, and Cilantro, never using any
preservatives ever. All are gluten free, plant based protein, vegan, non gmo,
and the best part ready to eat.
So for lunch my daughter and
I had one each. Mine was the Aahana's masala rice and lentil bowl. The
ingredients for this bowl are simple and real, such as Organic long grain
Basmati Rice, Organic Split Red Lentils, and Vegetables cooked with aromatic
herbs and spices. The ready to eat bowl is packed with superfoods, that will
enhance antioxidant properties, and so much more. It is a fast ready to eat
comfort food from Aahana's Khichdi. There is no added colors, flavors, or
preservatives in any of the bowls. It is really a mouth watering bowl, packed
with a burst of sophisticated flavors.
For her lunch my daughter
choose the Aahana's Khichdi, Quinoa and sprouted lentil bowl. It was super
fast, super easy to get ready. The instructions are right on the top of the
ready to use bowl. The ready to eat bowl had a very flavorful taste. Made with
the same love and care, it's packed with organic ingredients and superfoods such
as Organic Sprouted Red Lentils, Organic Sprouted Quinoa, and Vegetables cooked
with aromatic herbs and spices. Not only a great ready to eat meal, but also a
great food for a cleanse. The Quinoa stays nice and does not get mushy at all.
A overall great meal, anyone would enjoy.
For dinner my son and I had
the last two bowls from Aahana's Khichdi. I had the sprouted mung beans and
rice bowl. Fast and easy just like the other bowls, and fills you up. This is a
great bowl for those with digestion problems. These bowls from Aahana's Khichdi
are ideal for those in a hurry for a meal, or for camping, or lunch time at
work. The ingredients are simple and organic and promote heart health, wellness
and immunity boosts. It even has a nice spice to it from the cumin, curry, and
green chilies. It went really well with a side of whole wheat bread. The
ingredients are, Organic Brown Basmati Rice, Organic Sprouted Mung Beans,
Potatoes, Spinach, Carrots, French Beans, Olive Oil, Ginger, Green Chilies, Sea
Salt, Cumin, Super foods blend Moringa, Chia seeds, Flax seeds, Mustard, Clove,
Cardamom, Cinnamon. The taste is mouth watering!
My son had the Aahana'sKhichdi, sprouted millet and lentil bowl, also with some wheat bread on the
side. The flavor profile is so fresh and clean, and you would never know this
is a plant based product. Aahana's Khichdi bowls are fantastic. Packed with a
nice spice, and a ton of flavor. This bowl doesn't disappoint. The cup is
packed with, yellow lentils, millet, carrots, French green beans, pumpkin,
bottle gourd, onion, ginger, green chilies, cilantro, sunflower oil, garlic,
curry leaves, fennel, turmeric powered and spices. The best part is the portion
control, so great for those on special diets. Makes a nice balanced quick meal.
Fast five minute meal, that you can eat at home or take on the go.
My son, my daughter and I ate all these products right out of the ready to use bowl!
