Casa Visco Product Review

 

It was a traditional Italian food day in my house today. And to make the dish's even more special, I used two products sent over from Casa Visco.

The company has a amazing story, that began in 1945, making their specialized Italian food products. From their humble beginning to day, the quality of the ingredients has remained the same, with a homemade good taste.

Casa Visco is also a huge fan of supporting local growers, creators and makers. This is a wonderful company, with amazing products, that are made right her in the U.S. Each product is made in small batch's which not only ensures freshness but quality. The, Casa Visco products are organic and is a family owned business located in, Schenectady, New York.

Now let me tell you about the amazing day I had using the two products sent over from, Casa Visco.

Now when you think of pizza sauce, you think pizza. But it is a sauce filled with delicious flavors, and a different thickness then your regular pasta sauce. So think out of the box, and create new dish's. And that's what I happen to do today. For breakfast I made a baked egg dish and as the base used, Casa Visco, pizza sauce. It held up the baked eggs perfectly, and added a amazing taste. With a thirty two ounce jar, I knew I was going to be able to get two dish's from this jar. This Italian style pizza sauce is, Casa Visco's traditional pizza sauce, with all natural ingredients that is authentic for a pizza, but added a ton of flavor to my breakfast dish. This is a wonderful sauce that is low in fat, and is truly all natural. With ingredients of,  Crushed Tomatoes, Diced Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Water, Fresh Onions, Oregano, Soya Oil, Olive Oil, Spices. There's nothing else you need to add for taste, it's already done for you in the jar.

The second coming of, Casa Visco Italian style pizza sauce, went into my lunch dish. A small sausage casserole. Again, the pizza sauce brought all the flavor and taste to the dish. You will just love the texture of this pizza sauce. The consistency is so perfect, not watery at all. And it stays that way even when cooked. I was so glad that I tried it for my casserole, and I did not need any added flavorings for taste. If it's this good in these two dish's, you can only dream how wonderful it would be on a PIZZA!

Dinner was just as delicious, using Carmella's Marinara sauce not just once but three time. The jar is filled to the top with this amazing marinara sauce, two pounds full.

First up was a small pot of mussels with a cup of Carmella's Marinara sauce from, Casa Visco. This marinara sauce goes back five generations. In the jar is fresh ingredients such as onion, garlic, and seasonings and spices. It taste like you cooked at the stove all day. A very nice homemade flavor in every bite. And paired with the mussel's it was perfect. It's a very versatile marinara that you can use for many recipes, and not need to add any additional seasonings or spices. All the flavoring has been done by Casa Visco. Before you even open the jar, you can see all the wonderful ingredients. It really invites you in to taste on a spoon. And it's great to have a marina sauce that is made with all natural ingredients.

Gnocchi was the main course and was tossed as well into the Casa Visco all natural marinara sauce. Carmella, sure knows her stuff. This sauce is amazing, and you just want to keep tasting it. Every bite taste so fresh, it really taste like you cooked for hours. The texture is perfect, not to watery and not to thick. And not only that it clings to the food so you don't miss a taste.

The rest of the jar was just enough to cover a small pot of homemade meatballs. I wish you all could smell my kitchen, it smells amazing. The marinara sauce was so good with the meatballs. And what makes cooking with Casa Visco products is that all the work has been done for you. You don't even need to add a pinch of anything else for flavor.
