Fish Tacos

 



Ingredients:

 

1 pound white fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or halibut)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

12 corn tortillas

1/2 cup shredded cabbage

1/4 cup chopped cilantro

1/4 cup pico de gallo

1/4 cup lime crema (optional)

Instructions:

 

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Brush fish fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Bake fish fillets for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the fish is baking, warm tortillas according to package directions.

To assemble tacos, place a fish fillet on each tortilla.

Top with shredded cabbage, cilantro, pico de gallo, and lime crema (if desired).

Serve immediately.

Tips:

 

You can use any type of white fish you like for this recipe.

If you don't have lime crecan use sour cream or plain yogurt instead.

To make your own pico de gallo, combine chopped tomatoes, onions, cilantro, lime juice, and salt and pepper.

Serve tacos with your favorite sides, such as rice, beans, chips, and guacamole.
