Cinnamon
streusel crumb topping atop an apple coffee cake. It's alright to lick your
lips; this is a tasty, quick-to-prepare dish. Handcrafted with only a few
ingredients, it's the ideal recipe to pair with coffee, tea, or even a cup of
hot cocoa.
Ingredients

Cup All Purpose Flour + 1 Tablespoon Divided

Topping

Cup Brown Sugar

Instructions

cups all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup sugar, and 2 teaspoons baking powder in a large
mixing bowl Combine the dry ingredients and make a well in the center.
Combine
1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 egg, and 1/2 cup milk in a mixing bowl. Using a big spoon,
blend all of the ingredients until well combined. The mixture will be thick,
similar to muffin batter.
Slice,
peel, and core the apple, then cut into small pieces using an Apple Peeler.
Toss
apples with 1 tablespoon flour to mix. This prevents the apples from falling to
the cake's bottom.
Pour
the cake batter into a 9-by-9-inch oiled glass baking dish.
Streusel
Topping: In a separate dish, add 1/3 cup Brown Sugar, 2 Tablespoons Flour, and
1 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon and whisk to incorporate.

Tablespoon melted butter is added and mixed together. The finished product will
be a moist crumble.
Place
the crumble mixture on top of the cake.
Bake
at 375°F for 22-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of
the cake comes out clean.
