Campfire S’mores

Nachos with S'mores. They're a delightful treat that everyone can prepare and likes! For many, the sweet, sticky flavor of an S'more is the greatest part of a campfire while camping. It brings back childhood memories for you, and the youngsters will like it.

Ingredients

20 lg Marshmallows

20 Hershey's Kisses

20 Rolo

10 Graham Crackers

Instructions

Arrange Graham Cracker pieces on the bottom of a disposable Tin Pan.

Large marshmallows are placed on top, followed by Hershey Kisses and Rolo Chocolate Candies. Next, insert Graham Cracker pieces in between the marshmallows and chocolate.

In the oven, broil

Place the S'mores in the oven and broil them. Rack should be placed on the second notch down. Broil for 2-3 minutes, keeping an eye on them to prevent them from burning.

Around the Campfire

Make a fire and allow it to burn down until you have hot coals. Place a couple of huge boulders (about the size of your fist) around the coals. These will assist in lifting the foil pan off the coals. Then, put the pan over the fire and cook the S'mores Nachos.

Time will vary based on the amount of coals, heat, and other factors. To help heat through, drape a sheet of foil over the top like a tent.

Grilled BBQ

Preheat the grill to 350°F and line it with foil. Close the cover and let the chocolate and marshmallows to soften. This may happen rapidly, in as little as 3-5 minutes on a well-heated BBQ grill.
