Ginger Dressing

Ginger Dressing, commonly known as Japanese Salad Dressing, is a sweet, tangy, and somewhat spicy dressing used on a basic iceberg salad at Japanese steakhouses.

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Peanut Oil

1/2 Cup White Onion Diced

1/4 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar

1/4 Cup Water

2 Tbl Ginger Fresh grated

2 Tbl Celery Diced

2 Tbl Soy Sauce

1 Tbl Ketchup

2 tsp Sugar

2 tsp Lemon Juice

Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

Collect all of the components. Chop the onion and celery.

To grate fresh ginger, first peel it using a potato peeler or paring knife. Then, using a tiny grater, shred the ginger.

Add all ingredients in a food processor and mix until smooth.

The onion and celery will provide texture to the dressing.

Refrigerate in a tightly covered container until ready to serve.

Once properly stored in the refrigerator, it can last up to a week.
