A yummy pie for, to end your
evening, or take for a special occasion.
What you need
1 (9 inch) pie shell
2 cups white sugar
½ cup butter softened
5 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon all-purpose
flour
1 tablespoon cornmeal
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
3 ta Heat the oven to 350°F
Cream together sugar and
butter or margarine in a large mixing basin until light and creamy. Incorporate
the eggs and milk. Combine the flour, cornmeal, lemon juice, and lemon rind in
a mixing bowl. Blend until smooth. Pour the sauce into the pastry shell.
Cook in a preheated oven for
35 to 40 minutes, or until the middle is set. Top lemon zest
