3/4
teaspoon garlic powder
1
can (14 ounces) beef broth
3
tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
1
tablespoon molasses
1-1/2
pounds beef top sirloin steak, cut into strips
1
tablespoon canola oil
2
large green peppers, cut into strips
1-1/2
cups sliced celery
3
green onions, chopped

Combine
the cornstarch, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl. Pour
in the broth and stir until smooth. Set aside the soy sauce and molasses.
Stir-fry
steak in oil in a nonstick pan or wok for 4-5 minutes; remove and keep warm.
Cook until the peppers, celery, and onions are crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
Stir the broth mixture into the veggies. Put the meat back in the pan. Bring to
a boil; simmer and stir for 2 minutes, or until thickened. Mix in the lemon
juice. If preferred, serve over noodles.
