ANZAC pudding

 


A sweet dessert for individuals who enjoy the taste of ANZAC biscuits but prefer a break from the stiffness of the biscuit.

 

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups self-raising flour

1stick butter

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup coconut

1 cup milk

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

 

SAUCE

1/2 stick butter

1/2 cup golden syrup

2 cups boiling water

 

Heat the oven to 320 degrees.

Sift the flour, then knead in the butter with your fingertips.

 

Mix in the rolled oats, sugar, and coconut.

Mix the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract in a separate dish before adding to the dry ingredients. Combine thoroughly.

 

Sauce: To make the sauce, combine the butter, sugar, and boiling water.

Cook for 25 minutes pouring over the mixture.
