Succulent,
delicious chicken in a creamy garlic butter sauce with a dash of wine for added
taste!! This Simple stovetop chicken recipe takes only 15 minutes to prepare
and will quickly become a family favorite!
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 to 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to
taste
1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon garlic, finely minced
2 teaspoons fresh parsley, for garnishing
Directions
In a
large pan, combine the olive oil, pounded chicken, poultry
seasoning, salt, and pepper, and sauté for 5 minutes over medium-high
heat. While the chicken is sizzling, do not touch, move, or disturb it.
Following 5 minutes, turn the chicken over. It ought to be medium golden in
hue. Caramelize for 6-7 minutes for thicker larger chicken breasts.
Let
the chicken to cook for approximately 5 minutes on the second side, or until
done and cooked throughout. Do not disturb the chicken while it is browning.
With
a slotted spatula, remove the chicken and lay it on a dish to settle.
Deglaze
your pan with wine or broth, and allow the liquid to boil and steam
furiously for a few seconds.
Allow
the butter to melt for about 1 minute, stirring constantly until melted.
Sauté
until the garlic is aromatic, approximately 1 minute; whisk constantly.
Turn
the heat down, then return the chicken to the skillet, flip it in the garlic
butter sauce, and spread the sauce over the chicken.
Sprinkle
with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
