The shredded beef dish produces soft, juicy shredded
beef in a wonderful gravy which is ideal for sandwiches or as a main course
with mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
3-4 pounds beef chuck roast
4 cups of beef broth
1 tablespoon onion soup mix
Directions for the Slow Cooker
Combine the beef stock and soup ingredients together
in a large crockpot pot. Pour the liquid over the meat roast. Should you prefer,
brown the roast in a large frying pan before transferring it to the slow
cooker.
Simmer for 8-10 hours on low heat.
In the slow cooker, shred the meat with two forks; the
gravy will keep it juicy and tasty.
