I was so
excited to open my package today from the company, Cheese Brothers. A company
that offers natural and tasty
Cheese Brothers offers a wide variety of not only cheeses in an array of flavors but other products such as salami.
Eric Ludy and Gene Graf are the co-founders of Cheese Brothers, with a love of fine cheese. Their history goes all the way back to their Great Grandfather, who was a Swiss cheese maker. A company making fine cheese since 1919.
Today, the Cheese Brothers family tradition meets today's innovations. And at the same
time keeps it true to their Great Grandfather's recipe, milk, salt, and natural
cultures. The cheese products are never processed or are artificial by any
means. What you taste is the finest in old fashion
Now let me tell you about the day I had, creating some delicious meals, with Cheese Brother products.
The day
started after getting my box, bright and early. Still in time to make a
wonderful family breakfast. A wonderful, apple, sausage, quiche. Incorporated
with Cheese Brothers smoked
QUICHE FILLING:
1 pie crust dough
4 eggs
¼ cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 cup Cheese Brothers smoked
¼ cup red onion chopped
¼ cup sausage cooked &
crumbled
1 jalapeno diced
10 chives chopped
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon chili pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2
salt & pepper to taste
butter for greasing
fresh parsley for topping
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Fahrenheit. Grease the bottom and sides of the quiche pan thoroughly. Assemble
the quiche pan by cutting the parchment paper to fit the bottom.
Roll out the pie crust dough to
cover the bottom and sides of a quiche pan thoroughly. Cut the extra dough and
push it into the pan's sides. To vent the crust, poke small holes at the bottom
using the tip of a knife. Bake for 8 minutes, or until the dough has a firm but
is still pale in color. Combine the eggs, heavy whipping cream, maple syrup,
red onion, crumbled sausage, chopped jalapenos, chives, coriander, chili
powder, and garlic powder in a small mixing bowl. Season to taste with salt and
pepper. Mix until well blended.
Pour the mixture onto the
pre-baked crust and spread it into an equal layer using a spatula. Place the
apple slices on top of the filling in whichever manner you choose. More
30-40 minutes, or until the edges
are golden brown and the middle barely wobbles Check the quiche regularly near
the end to ensure it does not burn. Take the quiche out of the oven. Allow at
least 20 minutes to rest before taking it from the pan.
Lunch was
also exciting and very delightful. I made a tomato, mustard, and cheese tart
with Cheese Brothers, mustard, and 3 amigos cheese. The classic mustard really
added a depth of flavor to my tart. It is by the way a limited edition product
from Cheese Brothers. And I highly recommend getting some before it is not
available anymore. If you are a mustard lover you will really enjoy this product.
It elevates whatever you use it on or in. It is great in this type of recipe,
as well as a condiment. Also, the 3 amigo cheese was a fantastic addition to my
tomato tart. The whimsical label does this product justice. It has a nice Latin
flavor and is a spicy
I was thrilled so far with my meals, and even more excited for dinner. To start I made cheese balls stuffed with Cheese Brothers, La Quercia, salami Americano, and 8-year-aged cheddar. The salami is to die for and is so very well crafted. You can eat it alone, or use it in so many dishes. The salami is so yummy, with well-balanced ingredients, and it just melts in your mouth. Then you have the 8-year cheddar that just makes this appetizer over the top. It has an amazing nutty flavor with a slight tang. It's a deeply rich sharp cheddar that you can pair with so many dishes. It's greatly melted, or sliced.
For my side, I made some roasted onions with Cheese Brothers Asiago and Parm cheese, Fratello. Paired with the roasted onion, it brought a party to your mouth. You get the best of both worlds with this cheese. And the marriage of the two is luscious. You get the flavor profile of pungent flavors, that are not only rich but creamy as well. It makes a beautiful addition to many dishes, from pasta to veggies. Your palate will truly be in culinary heaven.
The star of the evening meal was chicken Italian, covered in Cheese Brothers, smoked mozzarella. Talk about flavor, this cheese is out of this world. Not only does it melt into a rich creamy buttery cheesy deliciousness, the taste is over the moon and back. You can pair it with any type of dish, or slice it with a nice glass of wine. From Italian to Mediterranean style recipes, this smoked mozzarella will not disappoint.
You just have to try Cheese Brothers products. In every bite, you taste the love that went into them.
