Pancake Cereal just for kids

 



 Pancake cereal is a fun and easy breakfast that kids will love. It is made with mini pancakes that are cooked in a skillet and then topped with your favorite toppings.

 

Ingredients

 

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup melted butter

1 egg

Your favorite toppings, such as fruit, syrup, or chocolate chips

Instructions

 

Preheat a skillet over medium heat.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.  

Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the skillet.

Cook the pancakes for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Tips

 

You can use any type of milk you like, such as almond milk or soy milk.

You can add other ingredients to the batter, such as chocolate chips, blueberries, or bananas.

You can cook the pancakes in a waffle iron to make pancake cereal waffles.
