The 15-minute Chinese
Shrimp Stir Fry recipe will show you how to make real stir-fry. It's fast,
simple, and tasty! Exquisite shrimp in a delectable soy, ginger, and garlic
sauce.
INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons fresh
cilantro minced
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 pound shrimp peeled
and deveined tails left intact
2 tablespoons cooking
oil divided
3 green onion chopped
entirely
2 to 3 garlic cloves
finely minced
2 teaspoons grated
fresh ginger use microplane grater
INSTRUCTIONS
Set aside oyster
sauce, soy sauce, and cilantro in a small dish.
Using paper towels,
thoroughly dry the shrimp. Toss shrimp with cornstarch in a medium dish to
coat.
Put 1/2 of the cooking
oil into a wok or large saute pan over high heat and swirl to coat the
bottom of the pan. So when wok/pan is extremely hot, add the shrimp in a
single layer and fry for about 1 minute, or until one side is beautifully
charred. One minute later, flip and sear the opposite side of each shrimp. They
do not have to be fully cooked just yet. Transfer to a platter and set aside.
Reduce the heat to
medium and allow the wok to cool slightly to avoid the aromatics from
scorching. Mix in the remaining cooking oil, green onion, garlic, and ginger
for a minute, or until aromatic. If using other veggies, such as snow peas, add
them now to the pan and stir fry for a minute, or until the vegetables are
vibrant in color and crisp.
Ladle in the sauce
mixture and return the shrimp to the pan. Continue to stir fry for yet another
minute or so, or until the shrimp is cooked thoroughly. Serve right away.
