Hoboken Farms Product Review

From my home state of New Jersey, I received two jars of some really amazing marinara sauce.

The sauce comes from, Hoboken Farms, located where else but, Hoboken New Jersey. Brad Finkel is the founder and creator of this scrumptious product, and a few others.  Hoboken Farms has "nourished the people" of New Jersey and New York at up to 800 local farmer's markets each year since 1992. That'd be a lot of marketplaces!!! Their motto is "one jar at a time" philosophy has culminated into tens of thousands of satisfied, returning customers who will not take any other sauce. Their tiny but formidable team has thrilled independent shops by being upfront, pleasant, and constantly ensuring that everything is perfect.

Hoboken Farms also has some extraordinary products other than their sauces. Products such as artisan bread, and other gourmet entrees, like mozzarella cheese.

So for lunch and dinner, it was made with, Hoboken Farms marinara sauce. Here's what I cooked first.

Lunch, Sicilian nachos, with the star of the dish, Hoboken Farms marinara sauce. This sauce tastes like you were cooking all day in the kitchen. From the ingredients to the aroma, you just can't get enough of Hoboken Farms marinara sauce. It is keto certified, is made with no sugar or dried spices, no tomato paste, either. Just good healthy tomatoes and good olive oil. It is so easy to use, just give the jar a good shake and pour, cook and eat. The taste is so natural, fresh, and clean. The tomatoes give the sauce a nice sweet flavor that is well balanced with the other ingredients. The deep rich color of the sauce also makes your dish stand out, and your mouth water for the first bite. Every jar of sauce from, Hoboken Farms has two and a half tablespoons of good olive oil. This olive oil rises to the top of each jar, and that is why you shake it, to distribute the olive oil all through the sauce. If you are looking for a healthy marinara, Hoboken Farms is for you. You will not get this from those store brands. This is the real deal, fresh homemade marinara sauce from quality ingredients. From pasta to pizza, you can use Hoboken Farms to create amazing dishes. One taste of Hoboken Farms marinara sauce and you will see why they were voted the best sauce in the country by the Wall Street Journal. Just think, every bite of Hoboken Farms marinara sauce is a healthy choice, with no type of preservatives, at all. So no matter your diet, Hoboken Farms products are a wonderful choice. The marinara ingredients are Whole Tomatoes, Pure Olive Oil, Fresh Onion, Fresh Garlic, Sea Salt, Fresh Basil, Spices, and that's it! And for my lunch dish, well it did not last. Everyone was raving about the dish and how Hoboken Farms marinara is lip-smacking good.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 small carrot, finely chopped

4 garlic cloves, minced

3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1/2 cup dry red wine or beef broth

1 jar Hoboken Farms marinara sauce

1/2 cup vegetable broth

1 bay leaf

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

2 tablespoons minced fresh basil or 2 teaspoons dried basil

48 slices French bread baguette (1/4 inch thick)

2 garlic cloves, halved

1/3 cup olive oil

1 cup shaved Parmesan cheese

Cook the first 5 ingredients in a large pan over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink, drain. Stir in the wine to release the browned pieces from the pan.

Add the Hoboken Farms marinara sauce, stock, bay leaf, salt, and pepper to taste. Bring the water to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes, or until thickened. Remove the bay leaf. Stir in the basil. Place baguette slices on ungreased baking pans and rub with garlic halves. Lightly grease the brush. Cook at 400° for 3-5 minutes, or until gently browned.

Place the toasts on serving dishes and top with the meat mixture and cheese. Serve right away.

Dinner was with the other jar of marinara sauce, from Hoboken Farms. A nice casserole of Florentine spaghetti bake. Again the star of the dish that added amazing flavor came from Hoboken Farms marinara sauce. I can not tell you how wonderful the aroma was, but better yet the taste of this sauce. Every kitchen in America should have it on hand. It invites you in from looking into the jar to the finished recipe. It is full of flavor and will not disappoint!

Ingredients

8 ounces uncooked spaghetti

1 pound bulk Italian sausage

1 large onion, chopped

1 garlic clove, minced

1 jar Hoboken Farms marinara sauce

1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained

1 large egg, lightly beaten

2 cups 4% cottage cheese

1 package (10 ounces) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Heat the oven to 375° F. Cook pasta according to the package instructions. Meantime, sauté sausage and onion in a large pan over medium heat, breaking meat as needed, until sausage is no longer pink. Cook for 1 minute more after adding the garlic. Drain. Combine the Hoboken Farms marinara sauce and mushrooms in a mixing bowl. Raise the water to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until well cooked. Drain the pasta. Combine the egg and the following 5 ingredients in a mixing bowl. 1 cup of the sausage mixture should be spread in a buttered 13x9-inch baking dish. Top with the leftover sausage mixture and pasta. Layer the egg mixture on top of the mozzarella cheese.

Cook for 45 minutes, covered. Uncover and bake for another 15 minutes, or until gently browned and cooked thoroughly. Allow standing for 15 minutes before slicing.
