Bison Burgers

 



 Bison burgers are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional beef burgers. They are leaner and lower in fat, and they have a slightly milder flavor. Bison burgers are also a good source of protein and iron.

 

Ingredients:

 

1-pound ground bison

1/4 cup chopped onion

1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/4 cup chopped celery

1 egg

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon1 cayenne pepper (optional)

1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions:

 

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, combine the ground bison, onion, green bell pepper, celery, egg, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well.

Form the mixture into 4 patties.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.

Serve the bison burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.

Tips:

 

You can add other seasonings to the bison burgers, such as Italian seasoning, Cajun seasoning, or lemon pepper seasoning.

You can also add other ingredients to the bison burgers, such as mushrooms, cheese, or bacon.

If you don't have a grill, you can cook the bison burgers in a skillet or oven.
