Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado, chopped green onions, tortilla chips

Instructions:

 

Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and ground turkey and cook until browned. Drain off excess grease.

Add onion, garlic, and green bell pepper to the pot and cook until softened.

Stir in kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, chili powder, ground cumin, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper (if using), Worcestershire sauce, and water.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour, or until thickened.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Add the onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.

Stir in the mango chunks, chicken broth, sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until heated through.

Serve over rice.

Tips:

 

For a spicier dish, add more red pepper flakes.

If you don't have sweet and sour sauce, you can make your own by combining equal parts sugar, vinegar, and ketchup.

Mango chicken is a great dish to serve with steamed vegetables or a salad.
