Baked Rice

Best rice ever!

Ingredients:

1.5 cups uncooked rice

2 chicken thigh

100g fresh mushrooms of your choice, sliced thickly

some minced garlic

1 cup cream (dairy)

1/2 cup chicken stock

1 teaspoon salt (adjust according to taste)

some black pepper

some grated mozzarella cheese

dried parsley

A Rice cooker is used to wash and cook rice. Bring a saucepan of water to a boil, then add the chicken thigh and simmer until it is almost done. Allow cooling before shredding the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Half a cup of chicken stock should be set aside. Stir fry chopped garlic and mushrooms in a deep pan with some cooking oil (or butter). Incorporate the shredded chicken meat. Season with pepper and salt to taste. Continue to stir fry the mushrooms until they are tender. Stir in the cream well. Bring the chicken stock to a boil, then remove from the heat.

Cooked rice should be added at this point. Allow it to simmer for a few minutes, or until the sauce is nearly completely absorbed by the rice.

Fill a heatproof baking dish halfway with rice. Garnish with grated cheese on top.

Bake at 200 degrees Celsius in a preheated oven until the cheese is golden brown. Garnish with dried parsley. Serve right away.
