A quick
and delicious pasta dish everyone will fall in love with.
Ingredient
1 (16
ounces) package spaghetti
1
tablespoon olive oil
¼ pound
turkey bacon, cut into small pieces
½ large
onion, chopped
1 clove
garlic, minced
2 (15
ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 ½ teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
¼
teaspoon dried basil
1
teaspoon garlic powder
½
teaspoon pepper
1 (15
ounces) can peas, drained
¼ cup
grated Romano cheese
A big
saucepan of lightly salted water should be brought to a boil. Cook for 8 to 10
minutes, or until pasta is al dente; strain.
In a big
saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Cook until the bacon, onion, and
garlic are gently browned. Mix in the tomato sauce. Sprinkle with parsley,
basil, garlic powder, and black pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, then lower to low heat and cook for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring periodically. Mix in the
peas. Toss the pasta with the sauce until it is uniformly covered. Top with
Romano cheese.
