The product I am reviewing
today is from B. Happy. They make peanut butter snack mix's. This family
adventure is called B. Happy Peanut Butter and is indeed a way to show our kids
what it's like to operate a small company. The aim was to create a little batch
of peanut butter so sweet, so special and so irresistible that you'd have to
"just eat it with a spoon." Since then, they have been published in
newspapers and journals, being on television several times, selling their
peanut butter at various places.
The company sent over three
jars of their B. Happy peanut butter snack mixes. And the family and I are about
to taste them, not only out of the jar, but incorporated into three baked
recipes I made. So let's get started!
First up is the B. Happypeanut butter snack mix "Go Lucky". This 12oz jar is chocolate
toffee. It has a combo of ingredients, quality milk chocolate, tiny bits of
toffee, and rice crispy treats, all in a honey roasted peanut butter. Tasting
this straight from the jar is like nothing I truly tasted before. And with that
in mind, I incorporated it into some peanut butter bread. In every bite of the
warm bread, you get the tiny toffee bits, mixed with the rice crispy. Not only
will kids love this peanut butter snack mix, but adults to. It is smooth,
spreads great, yet has a crunch to it. It also mixed in very well with my
ingredients for the peanut butter bread. I didn't even use butter on a slice,
the ingredients from the peanut butter snack mix was all I needed for flavor. This
is truly a artisanal peanut butter product. This as well as all the products
are made in small batches, making them very unique. Whether you eat it with a
spoon, or baked into a recipe, beware! It can be very addictive.
Next product from B.Happy, is their peanut butter snack mix "Joy to the World". This is a peanut butter mixed with dried cranberries and white and dark chocolate, in a honey roasted peanut butter. In every spoon tasting you get the tiny bits of the cranberries. This taste like pure heaven in a jar! For my recipe I incorporated it into a cookie recipe. And the results we're some of the tastiest, soft cookies I have had in awhile. Even baked you still had some of the cranberry bits onto your palate. The combo of these ingredients make a wonderful combination for a peanut butter snack mix. And of course you still taste the honey roasted peanuts. Any one that loves peanut butter will definitely love these snack mixes. The cookies did not last long either.
For our dessert tonight I also used the product from B. Happy. I made some scones and incorporated the next jar which was B. Happy "Dream Big". This is honey roasted peanut butter with white chocolate chips and pretzel pieces. On the spoon it is a smooth taste, with pretzels bits in ever bite. Right in the jar when you open it you can see the white chocolate chips floating thru the peanut butter. If you like white chocolate covered pretzels, this is the peanut butter snack mix for you!
Any of these great peanutbutter snack mixes would be great on a spoon, on a dessert topping, or in any
recipe you wish to incorporate them into.
