Freshly Preserved Freeze Dried Veg's n Fruits

Tonight I received some freeze dried products, from Freshly Preserved. The company is located in North Royalton, Ohio. They sent over seven bags of mixed products, fruits and veggies, for me to try out.

Linda, the company owner, loved food processing has done so since a young age. Linda and her mother and have stored all sorts of fruit and vegetables through canning, frying, pickling, and every other form you might think. It was part of their tradition to save such seasonal sweets to enjoy later. In 2018, Linda wanted to eliminate her utensils that had been locked away for 19 years to take up the task. This time, however, Linda had freezer dryers so she was willing to bring a fresh spin on the storage. She h rediscovered  passion of making safe and delicious treats. Their approaches are special, but their love remains the same.

So with that being said I am ready to try out these jewels that Freshly Preserved sent over.

The freeze dried strawberries I used in a bowl of bran cereal. They tasted just as fresh, as if picked off the vine. There is no added sugar or preservatives in Freshly Preserved products, and they provide many nutrients and vitamins. You can use these freeze dried fruits in many types of recipes, or eat them right out of the bag, which by the way is re-sealable. The strawberries are just the perfect texture, not to soft or not to hard.

All of the freeze dried products sent over from Freshly Preserved are pet friendly as well.

The next freeze dried product was the cheesecake. After you put it into your mouth it begins to soften, and you then get the texture and taste of a delicious cheesecake. FYI, none of these products need any refrigeration after you open them. Now for this freeze dried item, I suggest you hide while eating, or you don't want to be forced to share.

With the freeze dried  Fuji apples and the freeze dried grapes, I used them in a muffin recipe. These turned out wonderful. For the apples I made walnut apple muffins, For the grapes I just used them and the basic muffin ingredients. Each muffin provided a sweet bite, and the fruit soften perfectly in each recipe. Eat them cooked in a recipe or right from the bag. Each way they taste yummy!

The banana that was freeze dried, I just placed in a bowl to snack on while I did my baking. They we're great, and I shared them with my dog as well. These are a great on the go snack, just as all the products from Freshly Preserved are. Also you can add them to smoothies and other recipes you have in mind.

I also made some soup and salad for dinner. For the soup I used the freeze dried sweet corn, that Freshly Preserved sent. I used the whole bag for this recipe, so that there was corn in every bite. After cooking the corn became soft and was perfect in the soup. The taste of the corn was sweet, just as if you ate it off the cob.

For the freeze dried peas, that went into my salad. It was the crunch of the salad, and worked perfectly. The salad dressing did make it semi soft, but still had a enjoyable crunch. There are many recipes I can see these freeze dried pea's in, but also they make a great snack for you or your pet's.

I must say these products from Freshly Preserved, tasted like they we're fresh from the market. They we're very easy to incorporate into a recipe, and added a ton of flavor to everything I made.
