Going

from the Aloha state.
So as the company says: Aloha

Ever since, 1963, NOH Foods has been the choice of the island, in the
kitchen of the first formal Korean restaurant (Arirang) in Honolulu, HI.

renowned for.
They can be found throughout the United States , Canada, Europe, Mexico and the Asia
Pacific region.
Noh, foods of Hawaii, is indeed a family-owned company, and it
brings great pleasure to bring you these excellent products to review.
The Hawaii themed dinner I made was pork chops
that we're marinated in the Hula Hula Cooking sauce & marinade from
"NOH", foods of Hawaii. This marinade carried on so deep and
rich into the meat, that I marinated over night Saturday. After taking the pork
chops out of the marinade, I grilled them outside for that real BBQ taste. The
flavor of the pork chops came from nothing but the Hula Hula Cooking sauce& marinade. It was a deep rich bbq flavor, that just made the meat tender
and mouthwatering. The aroma from the marinade was like being in Hawaii, itself. There is the flavors of ginger,
and soy, and so many other natural tasting flavors in the product. Also with
the Hula Hula cooking sauce & marinade, I poured it over the chops while
the meat rested, and it made a light gravy from the juice of the meat, and from
the Hula Hula sauce & marinade. The Hula Hula sauce & marinade had a
very authentic Hawaiian taste. What makes this product even better, is the low
sodium in it. So it's not salty in any way, and great for those whom have to
watch their salt intake. Overall the Hula Hula sauce & marinade had the
taste of very unique spices, that just made the meat more flavorful and
enhanced it up to very high levels. This product would be great for chicken,
beef, pork, even fish. Whether you choose to use it for a sauce or marinade,
its perfect!
Since the night was on the warm
side, I made a large pitcher of tea. "NOH", foods of Hawaii sent over two packets of their
Hawaiian Ice Tea mix. Both packets made 2 quarts, just the right size for my
pitcher. I added some sliced oranges to the glass, for a tropical feel, and it
paired very nicely with the tea. All I needed to do, was add the packets, and
water, and I had a great tasting beverage for our dinner. The tea is made with
black tea powder, and is a caramel color, with lemon flavor over tones. Very
nice!
"NOH", foods from Hawaii, truly do have some great products, that
will make your dishes taste like they came straight from the Islands.
