HONDURAN COFFEE BEANS

Coffees grown in Honduras, bordering Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala, usually have tasting notes identifying them as full-bodied with a soft and mild flavor. Much of the coffee grown in Honduras has traditionally been very unremarkable and mostly used as a coffee blend basis, but has emerged as a power in the coffee reviews in its own right in recent years and is frequently searched after.
Honduran coffees run the spectrum between soft and nutty to vivid and colorful, rendering it challenging to distinguish in blends. More frequently than not, marketers may show them as their own single-origin coffee. The best Honduran coffee would be the Strictly High Grown grade – these altitudes allow coffee to grow more gradually, improve mineral and nutrient absorption and produce a fuller, more robust flavor.
Coffee farms are managed and controlled by a substantial number of small farmers. Recent estimates placed the number of about 110,000 farmers-over 90% of them low. Such plantations, in addition, fund approximately one million workers throughout the coffee harvesting and processing season (between November and March).
