California Balsamic Product Review

When making dinner, having the right condiments, glazes, spices etc. come in handy. And these three products I get to try, came just at the right time.

From California Balsamiccompany, I have the chance to try three of their products. All three are a balsamic vinegar, and I will incorporate all of them in tonight's dinner. But first let me give you a little background information about the company.

California Balsamic is a special collection, influenced by flavors from all over the world. Their premium standard is fine-tuned by research, consumer reviews and culinary imagination. In the early years, California Balsamic, also known as Tres Classique Specialty Products, became a salad dressing and dessert sauce line until 1996, when world traveler and entrepreneur Thomas Allen arrived in Ukiah, CA just in time. Their products are produced from the finest fruit essential oils, rice bran oil and 25 star balsamic from Modena, Italy ,a specialty balsamic produced with extraordinarily high quality grape must from Trebbiano and Spirgola grapes that improve the flavor and consistency of the grapes.

So let's get cooking!

First is the appetizer, which is a homemade hummus with red peppers, and a drizzle of the California balsamic "sweet heat". This gave the hummus a slight kick from the fresh habaneros in the ingredients, also the taste of the garlic and fresh serranos. It was a great addition to the hummus. The only ingredients I added besides the balsamic was the fresh chopped red peppers. This way most of the flavor came from adding the "sweet heatbalsamic". This balsamic vinegar would also be great on your other recipes, such as cooked veggies, or even a pasta dish.

Next,I used the CaliforniaBalsamic "garden dill mustard seed". I made a melody of veggies and potatoes, roasted, then on top drizzled the "garden dill mustard seedbalsamic". This particular vinegar is from California's Balsamic Tres Classique collection. It's made from premium white balsamic, with fresh dill and of course mustard seed. So it was a great addition to the veggies and potato mix. This balsamic would also be great on top of baked fish, or other veggie dishes, the ideas for use would be endless. It has a slight tang from the mustard seed, and a fresh taste from the dill.

For the main course, it was baked fish, and I used the California Balsamic "curry". This is sodium free, and made with white balsamic. It gave the fish a rich flavor with a slight tang from the curry. Also it is from the companies, tres classique collection. This balsamic would make a great addition to rice, chicken or a oriental recipe of your choice.

The California Balsamic company has many products to choose from. From Balsamic to gift sets, you can find it all on their online store. So for more information, visit them at their website.
