Jammit Jam Review

I was asked to make mini desserts for a baby shower. And just in time I get a box of products, from Jammit Jam.

So I am going to make some, mini desserts, and make a extra one of each for my family and I to have one. I have the confidence that these products are going to make the guests at the baby shower, very delighted.

Jammit Jams, has deep Texas roots, from the lovely lady that crafts them, from the whole fruits that define them, to the pure natural ingredients that are in them.

The fruit spreads, make wonderful dessert toppings, tasty spooned on to a sandwich, but also in BBQ sauce, or as a topping from meat to fish dish's. They are very versatile, but it's up to you to be creative.

So I am going to share with you, the lovely mini dessert's I made for the baby shower, plus one for my family.

For the first mini dessert the guest at the baby shower will enjoy, are mini muffins, made with the incorporation of the Jammit Jam, raspberry ginger stout. The one that my family got to taste, was amazing. You have the whole raspberries in the fruit spread, with pure cane sugar, ginger, and the taste of the stout. It was so easy to swirl the fruit spread, around in the muffin mixture, and the aroma just from the jar, was heaven to your nose. The muffin, was so delectable, and elegant. And did not sink to the bottom of the muffin, you were able to taste the fruit spread, through the entire muffin. Fruit spreads, can be incorporated into so many recipes, from a fancy croissant and turkey sandwich, to vanilla ice cream as a topping, to a roasted chicken as a glaze. The ideas are literally endless.

For the Jammit Jam, blueberry balsamic black pepper fruit spread, I made mini cheesecake squares. The one I got to share with my daughter, turned out so delectable. How I used the fruit spread, was just before baking was done, I doppled the top. It stayed on the top after baking was done, and gave the cheesecake squares a fancy look. My square, tasted so decadent, the black pepper did not over run the fruit spread, at all. You, might think this is a odd pairing, of blueberries and black pepper, but it works, and it works well. And the best part there is only nine grams of sugar per tablespoon. The blueberry balsamic black pepper fruit spread, is a very sophisticated. Your palate is over joyed with the taste. You just taste the love and time that was put into these products. There is a very nice feature to all the jam products, on the back of the label is a recipe idea to inspire you. But it doesn't take much to create your own. The fruit spreads, make it very easy. Of course a nice warm bagel with cream cheese and the fruit spread, would be good, but so would a nice piece of baked fish, and the fruit spread, as the topping, better yet a roasted duck, with the fruit spread as a glaze, being theblueberry balsamic black pepper fruit spread.

For the Jammit Jam, apple cinnamon bourbon fruit spread, I made mini apple slab pie bites. The filling was the fruit spread, and some fresh apples. That's it, and that's all it needed. Amazing does not begin to describe the taste. Just close your eyes and vision, this fruit spread. Tender apples that are bathing in cinnamon, and bourbon. The flavor is so refreshing and clean. All the fine natural ingredients just meld so perfectly. The fruit spread, reminds you of a apple pie Grandma would have made. There's going to be some happy guests, at this baby shower.

With Jammit Jam, garlic pepper jelly, I made some mini brie bites and I wish I had them all to eat. They turned out so good. The garlic can be seen on the bottom of the jar, and its not over powering at all. There is a nice sweet and heat flavor profile hear, with a the garlic bits and habanera peppers. And then you get the taste of the coconut rum, that is there. So many wonderful flavors, melding into the brie. Outstanding pepper jelly.

Next for the baby shower, I made mini parfait glass's filled with vanilla pudding then topped with the Jammit Jam, cherry clove cabernet fruit spread, and then topped with sliced strawberries. I must admit, I did not share the extra one, I had it all to myself. You can understand why these are award winning products. The whole fruit spread is just so delectable and elegant. And was a star in this dessert, with the look and the taste. You get the cherry flavor, with the taste of the cabernet. Then you get the spice taste of the cloves. Just so exquisite.

For the final dessert for the baby shower, plus one, was some mini peach cobblers. For the filling it was fresh sliced peaches, and the jar of Jammit Jam, peach thyme prosecco fruit spread. Talk about fancy, the look that the fruit spread offered to the fresh peaches as a glaze was stunning. It is a pure delectable flavor pairing. You have the fresh fruit and a touch of prosecco, if this doesn't scream heavenly I don't know what does.

Any of these wonderful fruit spreads, can go with any type of recipe, from breakfast to desserts.
