I am going to do some cooking today, with products from Chevoo, from Healdsburg CA

All the hand crafted artisan cheese is made by SonomaBelle, a family owned business. All the cheese is high quality goat curd, that is blended with combinations of wonderful spices, herbs, and pollens. Then each is paired with extra virgin olive oil and slowly infused with wonderful spices or fruits. This combination of flavors makes all their products delectable, and exquisite. All the products are great to incorporate into your own recipes, and serve for the Holidays, or just a family meal. What ever you choose, they are going to make your meal, very appealing. The Chevoo goat cheese products will shine through, and make you feel great about what you are serving. From the humble beginnings in Australia, to your table now, these wonderful marinated goat cheese's, will compliment your BBQ's, your Holiday dinners, or just serve as a snack.

With the gracious amount of products sent to me, I took a full day to have fun and cook with them, and incorporate them into some yummy tasting dish's. Gathering my girls together, and to have a nice morning, to dinner experience, using Chevoo goat cheese, with olive oil products. Let me tell you about our day!

We began in the morning, with fresh brewed coffee, and the jar of Chevoo creamy black truffle goat cheese spread. This is a new product for Chevoo. It is a very decadent spread, with truffle. If you love anything with truffle, you will simply fall in love with this spread. When you open the jar the first thing you notice is the deep aroma fragrance of the truffle. The taste of the spread, is bold, and savory. What we made was some very nice tasting scrambled eggs, with mushrooms, and spinach. The pairing of this dish of ingredients, with the creamy black truffle spread, gave us a five star breakfast. The taste was full bodied, and with the earthiness of the truffles and the fresh mushrooms, was perfect. All these spreads are just to elegant to just slather onto a bagel. They should be incorporated into elegant dish's.

For lunch the girls and I made a nice salad and a croissant sandwich. For the salad we made a wheat berry salad, with pears, walnuts and a topping of Chevoo fennel pollen and orange in olive oil. This gave the salad a nice licorice like taste that paired well with the walnuts and pears. The flavor is rich and light at the same time. The Chevoo fennel pollen goat cheese and orange added a burst of flavor. The goat cheese it self in all the products is so very silky, and flavorful. The fennel pollen lends a taste of its own in the goat cheese and olive oil, overtones of licorice, citrus, and sweetness all at the same time. The burst of infused olive oil and orange is amazing, and adds the citrus flavors.

Also for lunch the girls and I had a croissant sandwich with turkey and bacon, and used the Chevoo goat cheese, olive oil flavor dill pollen and garlic. The olive oil is infused with garlic, then has the silky goat cheese, and the unique flavor of the dill pollen. After tasting it you will understand its award winning flavors. The olive oil infused with garlic is so elegant. The olive oil just brings the garlicky flavor right into the goat cheese. It lends a nice fresh taste to the goat cheese to. The dill pollen lends flavor of just that, dill. It gives the goat cheese a nice crisp taste. The jar when you open it sends it's highly aromatics right to your nose. The nuances of this blend are very dill concentrated in a elegant hand crafted way. The sandwich did not need a pickle in it or on the side, the dill pollen added a better flavor profile.

For dinner my girls and I made a nice buffet style dinner, since the whole family is home.

To start, was a nice Arugla salad with fresh Jersey tomato's. And the Chevoo goat cheese, urfa chili lemon. The blend is Urfa chili peppers, with velvet goat cheese, then marinated with a lemon infused EVOO oil. It's flavor profile is very sophisticated. The olive oil lemon infusion is so elegant, and soaks deep into the goat cheese giving it such a fresh flavor. The Urfa chili's are nice and sweet, that gave the goat cheese a warm smoky flavor. It paired perfectly with the Arugla's, peppery taste. For a salad this Chevoo goat cheese with Urfa chili lemon added a wonderful sparkle.

I also made a few crostini's for the buffet, and the first one was a nice beet tart using the Country herb and garlic goat cheese spread. The spread had just the perfect blend of spices and herbs. The flavor profiles that melded with the beets and other ingredients were savory, and very satisfying to the palate. This Chevoo goat spread, has a wonderful homemade taste to it. It's creamy, and elegant, and very pleasant on the palate. Not over done at all with the herbs and spices.

The next crostini was made with a French bread, and had the Chevoo Tupelo honey and lime goat cheese on it, then drizzled with raw tupelo honey as well. This Chevoo goat cheese is so amazing, its sweet with a real Southern flair. The lime gives you a nice fresh citrus flavor, and the honey gives it the nice balanced sweet flavor. This Chevoo goat cheese can be used as a alternative to butter in any recipe.

To add a sweet flavor to the buffet I made a crostini with French bread, topped with fresh blackberries, and Every day original goatcheese spread. Even though these are spreads, you can still dollop them onto any food. It's true you can use this spread everyday, but you can with all of them. The Chevoo everyday original spread is very classy, the goat cheese is very silky even as a spread. You get the taste of the French grey slat that is in the ingredients, with the robust profile flavors of the olive oil. A very nice spread that goes well with just about EVERYTHING!

Moving on, the girls and I made a few personal pizzas with Chevoo Italian black truffle goat cheese in olive oil. pizza topped also with peas and asparagus. Any food with Truffle is a elegant flavor, and this Chevoo Italian Black Truffle goat cheese in olive oil is no exception. The flavor profile is exquisite and elegant. It has a elevation of greatness that made my pizza taste so gourmet. All of the goat cheese in the infused olive oils are nice thick slices, that cut easy, and make them easy for presentation. The black truffle in the olive oil as a infusion, gives the flavor of a jewel of Italian cuisine. Nice overtone of earthy flavors, that seeps deep into the goat cheese. If your looking for a elegant goat cheese for your entertaining meals, all these Chevoo goat cheese's will do.

Since my son could not make dinner, I sent two jars over for my daughter in law to try and cook with, then report back to me with her opinions and her pictures of what she made.

The first jar I gave her was the Chevoo Zesty Citrus and Honey. And what she created was a stunning Fettuccine Alfredo with a creamy lemon sauce, and fresh torn basil with the zesty citrus and honey goat cheese as a topping. Not only was it a stunning dish to the eye, she said the goat cheese made it so tasty and delicious. The goat cheese has a combination of sweet and citrus flavors, Even as a spread, it was easy for her to dollop the top of her pasta dish. A wonderful pairing of ingredients. Full bodied flavors, with state of the art craftsmanship.

For my grandkids, she made some burgers, well grand teens I should say. And for that she used the jar I sent of Chevoo smoked salt and rosemary. The burger she said got no other ingredients added, the Chevoo goat cheese with the smoked salt and rosemary provided all the taste and flavor. She said dinner was a great hit. And she loved the products. I taught her well, with helping me with my reviews. She said the smoked salt and rosemary goat cheese had a very delicate taste, and that the rosemary in it was in perfect balance. There is also some cracked pepper as well. The aroma from the rosemary infused olive oil is similar to a bright fresh lemon. Great goat cheese for cooking, snacking, and making a fantastic looking cheese board.

This has been a fun filled day with my family. And my meals were, elegant and delicious, thanks to Chevoo.

And I want to thank them for my lovely cutting board, I really appreciate everything sent.
