Skout Organics review

Today's products, that I get to tell you all about, are from Skout. They we're very generous sending over a case of their great organic products that are healthy snacks for adults and kids.

Many years back, Katie, was climbing Mt. Hood with her, yellow Labrador, Skout, when she noticed that the food in the backpack, she had, was no safer than a chocolate bar. She had been looking far and large for a great-tasting protein bar that was safe and affordable. Unable to locate what she, was searching for, she picked up a couple of her favorite sustainable recipes and began creating her own. And Skout Organic was born!

Here are just a few samples of what you get in these great tasting bars. The first taste that hits your palate is the natural ingredients of a organic, plant based snack, that is heavenly. For the kid's bar's, organic dates are the base. This gives the bars a ingredient of a great super food, with slow burning fiber, and a easy to digest ingredient. Dates are very rich in vitamins as well as minerals, something kids benefit from, that lacks in many snacks and foods today. Another great ingredient used by Skout Organics, is organic sunflower seeds. Sunflower seeds are rich in vitamin E, copper, manganese, selenium and antioxidants. With the help of my family and Grandson who is two, we took a piece of each snack bar sent over. Luckily there was two of each flavor!

First taste was the, Skout organic chocolate cherry protein bar. The texture of the bar, was a nice full flavor of organic cherry flavor. You have the chocolate taste from organic cocoa, and the wonderful array of organic seeds. Here's a list of what this bar is made of, Organic Dates, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Organic Sunflower Seed Powder, Organic Pumpkin Seeds, Organic Cocoa, Organic Cherries, Organic Cherry Flavor. You will never realize that what you are snacking on is a plant based snack. All of us took a small piece, and it was scrumptious. What you taste in this bar is black forest cake, in a healthy bar form. When you take your first bite, it is soft, and flavorful, from all the natural sweetness. Just a pure healthy, decadent snack.

All these bars are amazing, they make great grab and go snacks, great snacks for in-between meals, and great for just anytime you have those hunger pangs. They are made with real whole food ingredients, free from major allergens, organic, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, grain free.

The next bar we all tasted, was the Skout organic peanut butter protein bar, may I just say "yummy". For those who love a snack bar of peanut butter, this will suit your craving. The profile flavor is fresh baked peanut butter cookies. The bar is smooth and soft and only has four ingredients, of pure deliciousness. There is no refined sugar at all, making this a great protein bar for everyone. The ingredient list is amazing, only four ingredients of, Organic Dates, Organic Peanut Butter, Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. Contains Peanuts and Tree Nuts coconut. A wonderful tasting protein bar that delivers the flavor it says it is. You won't find any bad stuff in this bar.

Now if your looking for a great Paleo, or vegan protein bar, these bars are great. But remember, they are wonderful for all of us. The next flavor from Skout was the organic salted chocolate. If this is your craving, then this bar works! Brownie is what this protein bar screams, a nice decadent brownie. Made with seven organic ingredients of, Organic Dates, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Organic Sunflower Seed Powder, Organic Cocoa, Organic Pumpkin Seeds, Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, Organic Chocolate Flavor. A nice clean and tasty protein bar that has the chocolate salted taste that’s just perfect. The soft protein bar is not only delicious, but very satisfying.

Our next share was the organic coconut protein bar. If you love coconut, this bar gives you that, and more. This is your macaroon in protein bar form, a true dreamy snack. Made with, Organic Dates, Organic Sunflower Seed Powder, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Coconut Flour, Organic Coconut, Organic Vanilla Extract. Contains Tree Nuts Coconut. A excellent tasting protein bar, that is a high quality bar. The taste and texture keeps you wanting more.

Can I tell you the flavors just keep coming. Now for the kids, a real food bar from Skout. With organic peanut butter and chocolate chips. Oh yea adults want this to! Made with great organic ingredients of, Organic Dates, Organic Peanut Butter, Organic Chocolate Chips (Organic Chocolate, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Cocoa Butter), Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. Contains Peanuts and Tree Nuts Coconut. That brings you the taste of a chocolate chip cookie with big chocolate chip chunks. A great dessert alternative for the kids, and a great snack for them as well. My Grandson, got to taste this one, and it was approved. Now we can't let my Grandson do all the tasting, one was plenty, so the adults have to go back to their childhood for the next kids Skout bar. And this flavor is the organic apple pie, real food bar for kids. It truly is a apple pie tasting bar. Taste just like Grandmom would make in her kitchen. With ingredients of, Organic Dates, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Organic Apples, Organic Pumpkin Seeds, Organic Cinnamon. The taste of this bar, the texture, is perfectly blended and crafted. Now for adults and kiddos who love peanut butter and jelly, Skout has that covered. Their organic peanut butter and jelly real food bars, for kids, taste just like a homemade sandwich.
