Sofia's Selection Review

The products I got to enjoy today, were from Sofia's. Sofia Foods, LLC, founded in 2007 to examine the consumer dynamics and business environment in order to establish a food processing company in the local market areas and then extend to other market areas. Production began in 2012 at their own plant in Warren, MI, then relocated to a new facility in Detroit, MI.

 Sofia 's Collection is committed to the development of good quality gourmet olive tapenade's. The specialty olives and tapenade's are marinated in a special mix of vinegar, garlic, sugar, salt and a rare combination of spices to give them their distinct flavors. All the items have a savory and spice taste profile but have fewer salt than all the olive goods on the market.

Handcrafted in small batches and packaged in a company-owned factory to maintain outstanding quality assurance and constant taste testing.

Let me tell you about the great day I had using these wonderful gems in my recipes.

With a few appetizers, and a burger, I incorporate products from Sofia's. The first was a Sofia's olive tapenade, roasted Serrano pepper. Served with some bagel toasts as a nice dip. The handcrafted tapenade is low in salt, and is gluten free, making it a wonderful selection for everyone. You taste the olives in every bite you take. With no preservatives, or additives, the ws tapouenade is ready to eat right from the jar, or incorporate into your favorite recipe. All the tapenade's are made in small batches, this gives the product more taste, and better quality. The flavor profile is very unique, with a nick kick from the Serrano pepper that is added. If you love olives, you will love Sofia's tapenade's. You can use them in many ways, for pasta dish's, salads, even on a cheese board. They are not salty or briny at all.

The next appy was some mashed avocado with Sofia's roasted red pepper tapenade, served with some nice savory crackers on the side. This tapenade is made the same way with the same ingredients. The ingredients and the olives give you a nice fresh extraordinary taste. They can be served at any festive party, being so elegant in taste and looks. Sofia's selection of ingredients are chosen very carefully, that brings a homemade taste to the tapenade's. There is nothing artificial in these products, just fresh all natural ingredients. They are great as a dip, but don't stop there, use your creativity for some great recipes.

The next jar from Sofia's was the tapenade roasted garlic flavor. For this I added some into a nice tomato salad. It melded beautifully as a ingredient, and brought forth a nice flavor profile. The tapenade makes you think of summer nights, a few drinks, and a nice tapenade to serve to your guests. It's very elegant and ready to use. The roasted garlic flavor is perfect. Just the right amount of garlic flavors, that don't take over the olives. This tapenade would also be great served on a bruschetta, or as a salad topping. Its delicious, from the first bite to the end bite.

For the last dish, I made some mini burger sliders, using the Sofia's onion tapenade. I put the roasted sweet onion tapenade right into the burger mix, nothing else. All the flavors came from the jar of Sofia's roasted sweet onion tapenade. It made a nice tasty burger, with the sweet onion flavor profile. It was very enjoyable in every bite you took. A little taste of sweet, and fresh flavors, in a jar. You could use this Sofia's roasted sweet onion tapenade in a burger mix, but also as a topping for some pork recipes.
