After lunch, I was excited to try some products sent
by the company Pi Chai.
I created a nice cupcake recipe with one of the
products, and two drinks, that I will share with you. But first a little back
story of the company Pi Chai.
Pi Chai are products by Swallowtail Foods, LLC, and
was founded by Jennifer Lopez in 2013. Her long history in the culinary arts
really paid off. And that’s when she decided to venture off and create her own
company.
Pi Chai was then developed and are exquisite delicious
natural chai's. They are very easy to make, and are made with simple ingredients
that are high quality.
The company is also involved in many giving back
programs, like, local organizations we support include Respite Care, Inc.,
Foothills Gateway, Inc., College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
at CSU , College of Health and Human Sciences at CSU , Hope Lives/The Lydia Dody Breast Cancer Foundation, Junior League of
Fort Collins, The Joshua School, and The Fort Collins Rescue Mission, and the
list goes on and on. And the company is also a member of the Fort Collins
Chamber of Commerce.
Now, let me tell you about the evening I had.
The first product from Pi Chai, was the bag of Pi Chai
Java. This is a delicious chai latte mix of Pi Chai original with a addition of
espresso. All you do is add some hot milk and you have a very luscious drink.
The Pi Chai Java, is make with all natural ingredients. And after you add your
hot milk, you get a very smooth and creamy sweet chai with a taste profile of
espresso flavors. It was easy to make, and was delicious. And to make the Chai
Java, was with out any lumps, it came out just like a local barista would
create.
These Chai drinks are easy to make, they are fast and
fun. They have no artificial ingredients in them of any type. All the products
from Pi Chai, are made with high quality ingredients. They are great hot, cold
and blended, any way you desire. They dissolve very quickly, making them a
great instant Chai. After you taste these products, you will stop going to your
other sources. Now you can create your own Chai treats right in your own
kitchen. Each bag from Pi Chai, gives you 76 servings. And the blends were all
handcrafted in Colorado
With the next bag from Pi Chai, it was chocolate. And
for that I incorporated it into some chocolate cupcakes. Who can resist
chocolate upon chocolate. The cupcakes came out moist with a very heavenly
taste. By just adding milk and making the Pi Chai Chocolate, I was then able to
use it in my cupcake recipe. I have to tell you, it was the most extraordinary
taste I have every created. The Pi Chai Chocolate is made with the finest blend
of black tea and exotic spices, that will turn your taste buds into a
celebration.
And to drink with the dessert, I made a cup of Pi Chai Original. This mix is a yummy chai latte, that has the same rich and divine
ingredients. The taste is very smooth, and to create it was a snap. For a
powered mix, this created a very succulent drink. You can use it with hot milk
or any alternative, like almond milk or soy milk.
After you try these wonderful chai mixes, you will be
a true chai connoisseur, and a barista in your own kitchen.
