Today I got some really unique treats from a company
called "Inanna". In Sumerian the meaning is "lady of the
heavens" And when you taste these wonderful treats, you can understand
why. The gourmet confections are handmade baklava, and in every bite you can taste the
time and love put into the products.
All of the confections are made with quality, fine
ingredients, that are preservative free, and made with a variety of nuts, that
are grown by wonderful farmers. The confections fit everyone's dietary needs,
and are safe for them to enjoy. These confections are nutritious, with a full
flavor profile. Just from eating a confection of this type, you are
incorporating many vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants into your diet.
Tasting a few confections from each box, was amazing.
The first box was Inanna, Vegetarian, with walnuts. These luxury gourmet
confection sweets are so indulging. You just fall in love with the butter
taste. The dough is light and airy, and the shapes are very exquisite. In every
bite, the sweet confections are filled with delightful walnuts. A excellent layered
treat.
The next box was the sweets and nuts, and Inanna did
not skimp on the ingredients in each layer. I love how each piece in the box is
a different shape. Set them out on a try and you will be the hostess of the
year, they are that elegant. The taste and flavor profile is sweet, and then
there is the nuts, that just burst with flavor. All held together with the most
wonderful tasting syrup.
Next was a few from the Inanna, Almonds vegetarian,
made with the sweetest tasting almonds. This will send your taste buds to
heaven for sure. Any of these confections from Inanna, would make the most
elegant gift. Or savor some after a nice dinner for any special occasion. They
are fresh, buttery, and so flaky. Also indulge your self and have a few in the morning
with a nice hot cup of tea.
One of my most favorite nuts is cashews, and when I
saw a box from Inanna with them I was so excited. From the stunning box, to the
confections inside, you get high quality treats. They are a wonderful dessert,
a special treat, or a great gift for any occasion. You just have to be careful
of these little wonders, they could become a addiction. They are so well
handcrafted, and mouth watering. Eat them slowly and savor it in your mouth
till it's gone!
Now any one that loves baklava confections, will love
this unique blend, made with peanuts. This was a first for the family and I, and it
was pure delight. Just the perfect amount of sweetness. With a nice amount of
peanuts in every piece. The peanut flavor really takes these baklava
confections to new heights.
The last box was Inanna pistachio, and it was so
amazing. This to like the others, are a light taste with vegetarian butter. The
pistachio baklava is a true gourmet in its own right. Every bite you take, you
get the love and time put into crafting them. What you are getting in every way
is a true traditional baklava. Adults and kids will fall in love with any of
these flavors. The craftsmanship is so beautiful, from the box to each baklava
piece. And Inanna, does not skimp at all, as far as the fillings. The
confections are so light, airy, and not overly sweet. Any of the Inanna
confections are a guilt free treat.
